Charles Rutenberg Realty Adds High Tech
to its Traditional Way of Selling a Home

Says The Days of Going to the Office Are 'A Thing of the Past'

In this volatile Real Estate market, Agents are looking for ways to increase their earnings as their sales commissions continue to fall. But between Real Estate Agents constantly having to report to the office and giving a percentage of their commissions to their broker, it is impossible for them to earn a bigger paycheck.

Charles Rutenberg Realty, a Real Estate firm headquartered in Plainview, New York, with offices in Manhattan, Florida and Illinois, offers both a traditional and a high-tech approach to the Real Estate trade. The firm uses the latest technology to reach out to new customers through search engines, online advertising and Realtor-based Web sites.

On the Charles Rutenberg Web site (www.crrli.com), each Agent has his/her own Web page, which offers a brief biography of each Agent and their contact information. The online Agent list offers the Agent's name, coverage area and links to their personal Web page and e-mail address. While out in the field, Agents have text messaging capabilities available on their cell phones to alert them of new and prospective buyers.

"We have a very different approach to the Real Estate market because of the business model," Joe Moshe, Broker/Owner, Charles Rutenberg Realty, said. "We have a large Internet-based marketing system, as well as traditional agency marketing. We provide our Agents with the latest technology. The days of going into the office are a thing of the past."

Charles Rutenberg links their listings to other sites such as Realtor.com (the Web site of the National Association of Realtors), Google, Yahoo!, Craigslist and others. Each Agent has a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) database set up on its Virtual Listing Service (VLS) Web site, for which Agents pay a nominal fee that also covers site building, hosting and transfers to search engines; Charles Rutenberg provides the MLS feeds free of charge.

Each Agent is also provided access to a "Do Not Call" database. In addition, Charles Rutenberg specializes in online advertising for its Agents. Upon making the sale, Charles Rutenberg's Agents pay only a $330 transaction fee while keeping 100% of the commissions.

"I don't understand why any Agent would pay for their own expenses and have to split the commissions with the broker," Mr. Moshe said. "The successful Agent today understands that leads and sales are generated by being in the field, Internet marketing and social networking. The days of going to the office are over."
