94-Year-Old Father-and-Son Team Are Part of
Charles Rutenberg Realty Family

Anthony and Tony Tronto are a father-and-son team at Charles Rutenberg Realty. They have been with Charles Rutenberg Realty since late March, with more than 60 years of combined Real Estate Agency experience between them.

The Trontos, who reside in New Hyde Park, came over from Keller Williams prior to joining Charles Rutenberg Realty. They also worked at ERA Realty; Tony also worked for RE/MAX’s offices in California and New York. Their territories cover Nassau, Queens and western Suffolk Counties.

Tony, who is 54 years old, enjoys working alongside his father, who turned 94 on June 16. “I got to learn a lot working with my dad,” he said. “He has a lot of wisdom and experience in the Real Estate business that he can share with me.”

It was because of his father that Tony began his career in Real Estate. He studied Real Estate while at American River College in California. In 1975, he received his Agent’s license In New York. That same year, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He spent 39 months in active duty, attaining the rank of E-4. He was honorably discharged. Tony served an additional 18 months in the Air Force Reserve. He was honorably discharged, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Anthony graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz. After working as a schoolteacher, he was drafted in the U.S. Army. Anthony graduated from OCS and graduated as a Second Lieutenant. During World War II, Anthony landed on Omaha Beach at the rank of Captain and helped set up and oversee the restructuring of Germany’s military and government after the war ended. After his distinguished career in the military, Anthony returned to school. In 1964, he started working as a Real Estate Agent and Broker.

Tony is glad he made the switch to Charles Rutenberg Realty. “This is a great company,” he said. “They provide a lot of support to their Agents.” He also has praise for Charles Rutenberg Realty Broker/Owner Joe Moshé. “If there are any issues or problems, we let him know and he deals with them in a swift and efficient manner,” said Tony.
