John C. Zaher, President
John Zaher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University at Stony Brook and then worked for Republican National Committee and as a staff member on Rick Lazio's campaign for U.S. Congress. In 1993, John joined Congressman Lazio's staff as a Special Assistant.
In August of 1994, he joined TCI Cable of Brookhaven (later Cablevision of Brookhaven) as its Community Affairs Manager and later as Franchise/Government Relations Manager, earning numerous honors from the New York Cable Television Association for public service programs.
John graduated from Touro Law Center's evening Juris Doctorate program Cum Laude. His graduating paper, Exploring Councilmanic Districts for Long Island's Towns, was published by the Suffolk Law Journal. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 1999. John served as Press Secretary in Suffolk County District Attorney's Office beginning in 1999 and for the Nassau County Executive in 2001.
In addition to his law degree, John holds a Masters in Political Science/Public Policy from the University at Stony Brook in December of 2000. He teaches Political Science and History at Suffolk and Nassau Community Colleges.
Shannon K. Stevens, Senior Account Executive
Shannon K. Stevens earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She has 15 years of public relations, marketing and branding experience with major consumer companies including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, and JCPenney.
Shannon began her career in corporate and financial public relations and has represented organizations such as The New York Bar Association, as well as several prominent law firms and publicly-traded companies in the past.
Her strengths include creating integrated campaigns; developing brand messaging and strategy; media training clients, celebrity spokespeople, and executives for television, radio, and web-based outlets; conducting before-and-after image and perception surveys; providing client counsel on a host of media-related issues; and handling crisis communications. Shannon’s work on the Vaseline “Skin is Amazing” and “Skinvoice” campaigns received numerous PR industry awards.
In addition, Shannon received her New York State Esthetics License from The Long Island Institute of Beauty and has experience with cosmetic surgery practices; salons; spas; and beauty products, companies, and professionals.
Hank Russell, Public Relations Director
Hank Russell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at St. Bonaventure University. He has more than 15 years experience as a writer, editor and proofreader. His first job was sports editor of The Long-Islander. In 1991, he was named Suffolk County Wrestling Coaches Association Newspaperman of the Year.
He joined Volt Information Sciences as a proofreader in 1993. In July 1994, he earned Volt’s “Catch of the Month” award. He spent the first three years as a proofreader and two years as a trafficker. He also spent another year as a proofreader and copy editor for Wilen Business Media.
Between 2000 and 2006, Hank worked for a series of magazines as an assistant, associate and managing editor. He has also freelanced for numerous scientific and medical imaging magazines, and, in 2008, was a contributing writer and poetry editor for The North Atlantic Review. Before joining PRMG, Hank was a political reporter for Suffolk Life.
Kerri Wright, Social Media & Advertising Coordinator
Kerri Wright graduated from Stony Brook University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies. She is currently working toward a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Stony Brook University. Kerri is responsible for Social Media and Advertising Placement for TV, Radio, Web and Print.
Hannah Perez, Graphic Designer/Web Developer
Hannah Perez graduated in 2006 from Stony Brook University with a bachelor's
degree in Computer Science. She takes care of the website design,
programming, and web maintenance of each site. Hannah makes sure that all the websites created are properly optimized to take advantage of greater placement in search engine rankings using the latest industry standards.
Laura Larson, Graphic Designer
As a graduate of Farmingdale University, Laura Larson holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications. Highly skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite, she has been designing professionally since 2005. Ms. Larson produces much of our web design, print advertising and brand identity graphics. She is also experienced with TV graphics and storyboarding. Additionally, Ms. Larson holds her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Dowling College.
Terence Dollard, Digital Video Production
Terence Dollard is a ten-year veteran of television production. In that time, he has worked in all phases of production and in many genres. Terence has produced and directed a dramatic feature, numerous commercials, music videos, documentaries and an award show.
Combining real world experience with a strong visual style, Terence offers clients variety, professionalism and quality in their video projects.
In 2000, Terence earned his Master of Fine Art degree in Television Production, and his Masters thesis, “Set List,” an hour-long dramatic feature, won the Graduate Production Award from Brooklyn College.
Since joining the PRMG, Terence has concentrated on documentaries, commercials, and satisfying the needs of the PRMG's clients.
Aimee Dineiro, Marketing Assistant
Aimee Dineiro earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William & Mary in 2011. Since then she has worked for nonprofits (Points of Light and Liberty’s Promise), and spent 6 months travelling around Chile. Aimee is responsible for PRMG-branded social media, the PRMG Marketing Blog, and Spanish language translations.
